The Raven is notorious for their intelligence and and wisdom and wit. This is probably why Helena Ravenclaw chose this special Corvid as the House Animal for her Hogwarts House. This majestic bird is the embodiment of the values that Helena wished to promote. The front of the coin depicts the magnetic flying holding the Helena's Diadem.

 The back of the coin depicts a raven in flight, the wings outlining the bowl of the Ravenclaw R while a waterfall of raven feathers form the leg. Around the circumference of the coin is a regal floral design and across the top is a plate with the official identification number, denoting this limited edition collectors piece as one of a kind.
